Q: I can't seem to edit the header or footer of the template - how do I do this?
A: Simply double-click (right click) in the header or footer area and the text becomes editable. Once your desired changes are made, simply click outside of the header/footer area and the changes will stick. You can do this as many times as you need to.

Q: What if I want to add another section to the resume?
A: No problem! Simply copy-and-paste the section header and start typing. You can have as many sections as you want on your resume (Awards & Achievements, Extracurriculars, Training & Certifications, etc.) - the possibilities are endless. If you prefer a resume that is longer than one page, that's no problem either.

A: Yes, all resume templates are 100% editable.

Q: What file format do the templates come in?
A: The template is in Microsoft Word (.doc) format - the industry standard for resumes/CVs and cover letters.

Q: What happens if I experience technical problems?
A: First, take a deep breath and relax. Then, send us an email at support@NotYourAverageResume.com, and tell us which email template you were trying to download (reference the # in the lower left corner of the thumbnail). We'll email you the template and matching cover letter as an attachment. It's really that easy.

Q: How do I download a template?
A: The process is simple:
1) Find a template you like and click on the 'Download' button
2) You'll be automatically redirected to Paypal (our secure payment processor - all major credit cards accepted!), where you'll pay a one-time charge of $9.00 USD for unlimited access to our entire template library (this access never expires!).
3) Once you've paid the one-time fee in Paypal, you'll click an orange button labeled 'RETURN TO NOTYOURAVERAGERESUME' that will take you to the landing page where you'll be able to download any templates you'd like in just one click of the mouse. So easy, 1-2-3!

Q: I don't feel comfortable using my credit card online - what should I do?
A: Please click here to view the 'Top Ten Things to Know About Paypal'. In particular, 'Shop without sharing your financial info' and 'Paypal uses the latest anti-fraud technology.'

Q: I see gridlines (table lines) everywhere on the document - how do I get them to go away?
A: In Microsoft Word, simply go to the menu option Table > Gridlines (deselect 'Gridlines' by simply clicking on it). That's it!
